Hey everyone! I am back to work and up at 4:30 AM and in bed by 10 PM, so I've had little time for photography. I miss you guys and all the beautiful art you share with us on a daily basis. Home projects are winding down. Now we have mud due to the rain! We had all new sidewalks put in, a deck and new fencing, some outside outlets, and the house painted. Man! My job is temporary, probably through November, but it's a income! Hubby is doing ok with his chemo and now with the deck, he can get out until the weather turns bad. Anyway, Miss you ALL!!!

Does anyone recall who put out a journal or a deviation yesterday or the day before that addressed how they go about doing their editing their photos for clarity and sharpness? I was reading it and was called away from the computer for a few hours and lost who it was. Dirn it all! Just note me. Thanks!

JOURNAL

It's a rainy day here and I LOVE it, sometimes. I love it today. A chill is in the air and it feels like Fall. Time to start a favorite dish of mine (and my hubby's) Sausage Bean Chowder. Made just right and served with an artisan bread and salad...yum...feels like home...a comfort food.

Contest update: Looks like I'm in third place this morning. But that's ok. I appreciate all of your support. It was just an honor being in the first round finalist. This phase will last through the last day of the month. We will then go on to phase 3, which is the final phase.

During Phase 3, a panel of three (3) ASC judges will cast their final votes. Each vote will count towards 25% of the final score for a total of 75%. The final 25% will come from each image's average rating from phase 2 (the popular vote). A winner for each of the four categories will be awarded and also an overall winner. Winners will be announced by the 10th of each month. So, who knows. Thanks again, though.
